free range human washed cap

I made this cap before setting off on the Pacific Crest Trail. A little reminder to myself that I was free, that I was out there to live fully as a Free Range Human.

For five months it was with me through everything! Snow in Norcal, desert heat, river crossings, endless rain, and long sunny miles. It soaked, dried, and carried the dust of every step. Mine was yellow, so it just got more cool and faded everyday!

Along the way, hikers kept stopping me: “Where did you get that cap? I want one.” It felt like the words resonated with so many of us out there.  I guess, it's that longing to live untamed, to belong to the wild.
